Traditionally, GPR systems have been operated from a notebook PC, however, MALÅ Geoscience has taken the initiative to introduce a powerful and dedicated tool that replaces this traditional approach and thereby offers several significant advantages.
Advantages of XV Monitor Quick Setup MALÅ XV Monitor work like a PC but without the extras or non-essential features of a commercial notebook computers thus is optimized for the job in hand, i. e.
the collection, handling, processing, and presentation of GPR data. Designed on a Linux platform, so the start-up is quick, it has low power consumption and the operating system is stable and reliable.
Simplicity and Ease of Use The user interface has been designed to be simple, intuitive, easy to use and navigate. The ease of use is aided further with a unique dual function turn/push button for system operation.
Therefore, no external keyboard or mouse is necessary and the turn/ push button. Rugged Built for Site Operation The MALÅ XV Monitor has been designed with field use in mind, so the rugged housing is rated to IP65 and has a tough impact resistant fascia to protect the color LCD.
