Standard Sonde as Signal Generator
Standard Sonde is a self-contained battery operated signal generator. The sonde is widely used for utility locating especial non-metallic pipe and ducting.
Sonde Application
Add a flexrod to act as the pushrod with the standard sonde connected to the tips of the rod. The surveyor using a locator with frequency paired to that of the sonde, will be able to trace the path of the utility by following the sonde signal.
Such application is suitable for ducting, drainage and plastic where TX transmitter is not applicable.
Available in 3 frequencies i.e. 512Hz, 8kHz and 33kHz, with a locate depth of 16″ (5m).
