Privacy Policy
This policy explains what RD-Palmer Technology (M) Sdn Bhd collects when you use rd-palmer.my, why we collect it, and what control you have over it. It is written to meet our obligations under Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

1. Who we are

2. Information you give us
- Enquiry and quote forms. Your name, company, email, phone, the product or service you are interested in, and your message. We use this only to answer you and to keep a record of the enquiry. Providing it is voluntary, but without it we cannot reply.
- The chat assistant. What you type into the chat window is stored as a transcript so we can follow up and improve the assistant’s answers. Messages are processed by our AI provider to generate replies. Please do not enter sensitive personal information into the chat.
- Training registrations. The details you submit when booking a course.
3. Information collected automatically
We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used — pages viewed, approximate location (city level), device and browser, how you arrived, and for Clarity an anonymised record of scrolling and clicks so we can see which sections people actually reach. Clarity masks text input by default, so what you type into forms is not captured. We do not use any of this for advertising, and we do not sell your data.
Separately, our servers briefly read your IP address to rate-limit form and chat abuse. That check happens in memory and the IP is not written to our database.

You can block or delete these at any time in your browser settings, and the site will continue to work normally. To opt out of Google Analytics across every website, install Google’s opt-out browser add-on. To opt out of Clarity, use your browser’s Do Not Track setting, which Clarity honours.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf: our analytics providers (Google and Microsoft), our AI provider for chat replies, and our cloud hosting and database providers. Some of these process data outside Malaysia. We disclose data to anyone else only where the law requires it.
6. How long we keep it
- Enquiries and quote requests: kept while you are an active or prospective customer.
- Chat transcripts that did not produce an enquiry: automatically deleted after 60 days. Transcripts attached to an enquiry are kept with that enquiry.
- Analytics data: per Google’s and Microsoft’s standard retention settings.
7. Your rights
Under the PDPA you may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, withdraw your consent, or ask us to stop using it for a particular purpose. Email info@rd-palmer.com and we will respond within 21 days.
8. Security
The site is served over HTTPS, form submissions are rate-limited, and access to our admin system is restricted to named staff accounts. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what we hold.
9. Changes
If we change what we collect or which tools we use, we will update this page. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
